Located on Route 1 somewhere south of Ogunquit,Maine, Wild Willy's has great hamburgers with a variety of topping alternatives. No fried fish and no hot dogs, just great burgers and fries. Good frappes too.

Wild Willy's is the perfect place if your craving a great burger.  The staff is really friendly, and the burgers are excellent!  There are a bunch of different types, good fries, good shakes, very basic menu, but just what you need!

My husband and I just moved to Brighton and not having everything unpacked we have frequented many of the restaurants in the area. We found Willy's as we wanted a burger. I found myself at home as I'm from Texas.. I love the music, laid back atmosphere and simplicity of the place. The list of burgers was great and we both ordered.

What we found was one of the top burgers we have ever had.. in fact, it ties for #1 in my book (and this is saying a lot as I'm a food snob!). Just as I will drive to anywhere for good Mexican food, if we ever move out of the area, this is a place I would drive to for a great burger. If you haven't been, GO! You won't be disappointed!

I've wanted to try this place, but I've had one reservation: I've heard they won't cook any burger less than medium. Is this true? I can't stand a burger cooked anything beyond medium rare at most.

I tried Wild Willy's Burgers in Watertown MA. after I saw it on the Phantom Gourmet.  I wasn't impressed with the place.  The burger was okay but not great.  The fries weren't that good but the chili was pretty good.  I should have went to Fuddruckers or the 99 Restaurant for a better burger and fries.  I won't be returning to Wild Willy's Burgers.

I don't think I will ever be returning to Wild Willy's either.  The burger was good, but not great.  The fries were just awful.  Worst fries I have ever eaten, EVER!!!

My friend and I decided to try Wild Willy's after I read a review on the Phantom Gourmet email.  What a treat, great burgers, fun atmosphere and the staff was terrific.  3 ++++ stars for affordable, clean, yummy restaurant.

Not a big fan of this place...

We went the one time to Watertown and it just wasn't that great.  I've made better burgers at home on the grill.

Additionally, every place we go HAS to be family-friendly - with three (very well behaved) children (not those you see running in and out of tables at restaurants) We found it insane to have to pay for an adult sized portion for children that are 7,6 and 5.

Granted the 7 year old is a huge burger afficionado (ketchup and pickles only) he could finish the entire thing, but younger two, definitley not.

The "no kids' menu" thing, really irked me - we won't be going back.

Very disappointed. I had to order my meal at the counter. Ordered my burger "pink" came well done. Fries were good and like the idea that you can order 3 onion rings. Like my food on a plate not wrapped in paper. Did not like the roll.
